The water hammer relief valve is composed of main valve, high pressure hydraulic pilot valve, conduit and other parts. It has the function of hydraulic automatic control and high pressure unconditional opening of water hammer. The main valve can open quickly and close slowly, with the function of preventing water hammer when closing the valve. The water hammer relief valve is used on the main water delivery pipe of the pump outlet pipe, close to the water hammer source such as check valve and the overpressure point of the water delivery pipe. It is connected with T-shaped tee, which can unconditionally discharge the high-pressure water hammer. It is the protection equipment after the safety of the pump station, and can effectively improve the safety and reliability of the system.
1. Hydraulic automatic control: during the service life, it can quickly and normally sense the system pressure change caused by sudden power failure, pump stop or valve opening and closing at any time, unconditional overpressure relief. It has the function of inducing high pressure to open and release water, preventing water hammer from rising instantaneously, and can slowly close the main valve to prevent self closing water hammer without manual operation to control valve closing.
2. Smooth operation, no vibration: the main valve adopts the differential diaphragm structure design, which makes the main valve have approximate linear regulation characteristics in the whole flow range, especially when the slight water hammer occurs and the required discharge flow is very small to meet the protection requirements, the valve disc only needs to be opened a little, so as to avoid the "frequency jump" of the diaphragm, and make the main valve run smoothly without valve closing water hammer; At the same time, when the main valve is fully opened, the max flow area should not be less than the normal valve port area required by the size of the valve, and the valve port flow area should not be reduced.
3. Large closing force: even in the case of very low working pressure, the structural design of the main valve may provide reliable working power and ensure automatic closing when the pressure returns to normal. The main valve adopts differential diaphragm structure to ensure reliable closing force under any working pressure.
4. Slow closing: the water hammer relief valve has a slow closing structure to prevent its own water hammer.
5. Anti cavitation performance: because the water hammer relief valve is usually directly discharged to the atmosphere, it is easy to have high-speed water flow and cavitation whenever it is opened. Our valves are designed to protect the valve seat from cavitation and to avoid the impact of high-speed discharge flow.
