BNSV Hydraulic butterfly valve for water turbine inlet

Overview

Hydraulic inlet butterfly valve of hydraulic turbine is the most widely used inlet valve of hydraulic turbine, which is applicable to the penstock in front of the turbine. There are two types of butterfly valve: vertical shaft (valve shaft position is vertical) and horizontal shaft (valve shaft position is horizontal). Sediment is easy to deposit at the lower bearing of vertical shaft butterfly valve, which should be cleaned regularly, otherwise the lower bearing will wear quickly and cause valve sinking. Therefore, horizontal shaft butterfly valve is generally preferred.
