BNSV Hydraulic ball valve of water turbine inlet
Overview
The water inlet ball valve is mainly composed of valve body, valve, valve shaft, bearing, sealing device and valve operating mechanism. There are two kinds of sealing devices, i.e. working seal and maintenance seal (one ball valve is equipped with a sealing structure at the front and back, the former is used for maintenance and the latter is used for work). According to the different sealing devices, they can be divided into single sealing ball valve and double sealing ball valve (another sealing seal for maintenance shall be made at the upstream side of the valve).
In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the turbine, the inlet ball valve is installed at the water inlet of the turbine. In the water supply network, the water flow is controlled to turn off and open. The inlet ball valve is closed tightly with little water leakage, and the sealing device is not easy to wear and tear, and there is almost no hydraulic loss when it is fully opened. The valve has the advantages of small opening and closing torque, and can be used for emergency closing of moving water.
